Berberis thunbergii (Barberry)

Barberry, is a compact, deciduous shrub which makes an excellent replacement for Boxwood. It has small, oval leaves that range in colour from bright green to deep red or purple, depending on the variety. It produces small, pale yellow flowers, followed by bright red berries in autumn, which persist into winter and provide a valuable food source for birds
