Pittosporum 'Collaig Silver'
With luminous silver green foliage that glows in the garden, this elegant evergreen shrub adds year round light and texture to borders and sheltered hedgerows. The slender leaves are beautifully edged in creamy white, creating a refined variegated effect that stands out against darker foliage, particularly in winter when the colours intensify. More upright and compact than many variegated pittosporums, it forms a neat, columnar shape that works wonderfully as a specimen plant or for creating structured evergreen screens in smaller spaces. Tiny purple spring flowers release a delicate honey fragrance. Particularly resilient in coastal areas, it thrives in sun or partial shade while tolerating salt laden winds and drought once established.
