Anemone hupehensis (Japanese Anemone) 'Fantasy Red Riding Hood'
Vibrant crimson flowers with golden centres create a dazzling spectacle in late summer borders, their rich colour deepening as autumn approaches. The semi double blooms appear in generous clusters, each petal displaying a velvety texture and deeper red hue than many other varieties. Compact growth habit makes it ideal for the front of borders or container displays where the striking flowers can be admired up close. Dark green, deeply lobed leaves form attractive mounds that provide excellent ground cover throughout the season. Particularly resilient to pests and diseases, this hardy performer thrives in partial shade while withstanding challenging weather conditions. The long lasting blooms attract pollinators and make superb cut flowers, bringing their bold colour indoors.
