A compact and floriferous cultivar of Salvia x superba, a hybrid of meadow sage (Salvia nemorosa) and another Salvia species. It is a popular perennial valued for its early and long-lasting display of vibrant violet-blue flowers. This shrub forms attractive mounds of foliage, producing spikes of purple blue flowers in early summer that attract pollinators to the garden. Highly drought tolerant once established, it thrives in sunny spots with well drained soil, making it perfect for herb gardens, borders or container growing. The leaves can be harvested throughout the year for fresh use or drying, offering both practical and ornamental value.
