Bareroot Prunus avium (Wild Cherry)

A magnificent deciduous tree that heralds spring with a spectacular display of pure white blossoms, creating clouds of floral beauty that attract early pollinators. The oval, serrated leaves emerge with a bronze tint before maturing to deep green, then transform into warm autumnal shades of gold and red. Unlike many ornamental cherries, this tree produces small, sweet red fruits beloved by birds, while its tall, spreading canopy makes it ideal as a standalone specimen or for naturalistic woodland planting. Reaching up to 15 metres at maturity, its attractive peeling bark adds winter interest, making it a tree that offers year round appeal in larger gardens and landscapes.
