Variant

A vigorous hybrid poplar that grows with remarkable speed, quickly forming a tall, straight trunk and pyramidal crown ideal for windbreaks and screening. The large, triangular leaves with their shimmering surfaces flutter constantly in the breeze, creating movement and light in the landscape while turning golden yellow in autumn. Unlike slower growing trees, it establishes rapidly in most soil conditions including damp ground, making it perfect for creating quick privacy or shelter in new gardens. The grey bark develops deep fissures with age, adding winter interest when the branches are bare. Particularly resistant to strong winds and pollution, it serves as an excellent choice for challenging urban or exposed sites where fast growth and resilience are priorities.
