Fargesia papyrifera (Bamboo) 'Blue Dragon'
A statuesque and elegant clump forming bamboo, distinguished by its strikingly tall, upright canes that display a beautiful powdery blue bloom when young. These robust, olive green culms arch gracefully at the top, supporting a cloud of delicate, small leaves that create a soft, feathery texture. As a non invasive bamboo, it forms a dense, well behaved clump perfect for creating a lofty, evergreen screen or a dramatic architectural focal point. It thrives in a sheltered spot with moist, well drained soil and is remarkably hardy, providing year round structure and movement to the garden.
