Brunnera macrophylla (Siberian Bugloss) 'Jack Frost'
A breathtaking perennial whose heart shaped leaves appear delicately dusted with frost, featuring intricate silver veining that contrasts beautifully against dark green margins. In spring, sprays of tiny forget me not blue flowers float above the striking foliage, creating an ethereal display that lights up shady spots. The leaves maintain their spectacular variegation throughout the season, growing larger and more impressive as summer progresses. More tolerant of sun than many brunneras, it thrives in moist but well drained soil where it forms substantial clumps that spread gradually. Perfect for brightening woodland gardens, shady borders or containers, it combines effortlessly with ferns and hostas while resisting damage from slugs and snails.
