Cotinus coggygria (Smokebush) 'Lilla'
A charming dwarf smoke bush that brings a delicate touch to gardens with its rounded, deep purple leaves that mature to rich plum tones as the season progresses. In summer, it produces wispy pink flower plumes that create a soft, smoke like effect above the foliage, adding an ethereal quality to borders and containers. More compact than traditional smoke bushes, its petite size makes it perfect for smaller gardens or front of border planting where its colourful foliage can be appreciated up close. Thriving in full sun, it adapts well to most well drained soils and tolerates drought once established, while maintaining excellent leaf colour throughout the growing season. With its attractive foliage, airy flowers and manageable size, this delightful shrub offers year round interest and works beautifully in contemporary and mixed planting schemes.
