Variant

This stunning dahlia variety makes a bold statement with its vibrant scarlet red flowers that bloom profusely from midsummer until the first frosts. The semi double blooms feature slightly pointed petals surrounding a dark central disc, creating a striking contrast against the plant's dramatic bronze foliage. Growing to about 90cm tall, it's perfect for adding height and colour to borders, while the long stems make excellent cut flowers. Thriving in full sun and fertile, well drained soil, this tuberous perennial benefits from regular deadheading to prolong flowering. Its rich red flowers and dark leaves combine beautifully with silver foliage plants and ornamental grasses, making it a favorite for both formal and cottage garden styles.
