Variant

This exceptional perennial geranium produces a profusion of violet blue flowers with white centres from late spring until the first frosts, offering one of the longest flowering seasons of any hardy geranium. The saucer shaped blooms float above mounds of deeply cut green foliage that turns reddish in autumn. Growing to about 50cm tall with a spreading habit, it's perfect for borders, ground cover, or spilling over walls and containers. Thriving in sun or partial shade, it adapts well to most well drained soils and shows good drought resistance once established. A low maintenance plant that requires no deadheading, it's ideal for adding reliable colour to cottage gardens, mixed borders, or wildlife friendly plantings while attracting pollinators.
