A compact evergreen shrub that brings year round structure to gardens with its neat mounds of small, pointed leaves in glaucous blue green. From midsummer to autumn, it becomes adorned with dense spikes of pale violet flowers that gradually deepen to rich purple, creating a beautiful two tone effect that pollinators adore. The symmetrical growth habit requires minimal pruning to maintain its rounded shape, making it ideal for low borders, rockeries or container displays.
