Hydrangea paniculata (Panicle Hydrangea) 'Sundae Fraise'
Couldn't load pickup availability
A delightful panicle hydrangea that charms with its dessert inspired colour transformation, opening with creamy white flower cones in midsummer before developing delicious strawberry pink tones from the base upwards. The compact, well branched habit produces an abundance of large blooms that stand upright on strong red stems, resisting drooping even after summer rains. Unlike many hydrangeas, it flowers reliably on new wood, making it particularly resilient in colder regions. The blooms mature to a deep raspberry shade by autumn, extending the seasonal display. Perfect for adding vertical interest to borders or as a low hedging plant, it thrives in sun or partial shade with adequate moisture. The long lasting flowers make exceptional cut blooms and dry beautifully for winter arrangements.
