Lavandula x intermedia (Lavandin) 'Phenomenal'
A breakthrough in lavender breeding, prized for its exceptional tolerance of both winter wet and summer humidity, where many other lavenders would struggle. It forms a uniform, silvery mound of fragrant foliage, from which rise long stems of classic violet blue flowers that are highly attractive to bees. This robust plant maintains a neat, compact habit without the open centre that often develops in older plants. Its remarkable resilience and prolific flowering make it an outstanding, long lived choice for garden borders, hedging, and containers in the British climate.
